No it does not come with a wheel. Some are available on the market for this type of boat. One thing to watch out for are the wheels that stay under the boat when it is in the water. You want a wheel that flips up or comes off. A wheel that stays in the water under the boat can definitely affect the boats tracking. The wheel will act as a very bad rudder. Thanks

No, the wheel must be purchased seperately.

No it does not. but, it does have the wheel mounting brackets welded to the seat frame. The XT model comes with the wheel. They run around $110 for the wheel. I bought a small wheel for $20, a piece of square steel tubing, a bolt, lock nut, 2 washers, pin with safety clip, and a drill bit for another $20. Drilled the axle hole, cut the square tubing 20 inches long, placed the tube in the square tube on the boat seat frame, then heated the piece of tubing with a torch until red, then bent it downwards towards the ground. Let it cool, painted it, attached the wheel, and bingo, saved myself $70.

does this pontoon come with a transport wheel

A bit heavy, but give it a shot if you dare.

Absolutely not!!! Manufacturer recommends 30lb of thrust, elec only. By fuzzy math thats only 1/5 hp. It will break welds, lose control, prop may tear a pontoon. You will swim and contaminate the water with fuel. Don't do it. I run 55lbs :)

I run a 1953 EVINRUDE 3 HP LIGHTWIN OUTBOARD On my Colorado, it weighs in at 32 pounds, lighter than my deep cell batt & elect trolling motor. I've used it in the Colorado river over ten times and haven't seen the slightest crack in any weld, nor have had any issues with handling... Well no more than the trolling motor causes.

Well I have used my pontoon all summer long, with the EVINRUDE 3 HP LIGHTWIN OUTBOARD.. with at least 25 full days on the water (Lake and river).. and have yet to &quot; break a weld, lose control, slice up a pontoon, go swimming (except when I wanted to : p ) OR contaminate any water with fuel&#39;!
The last part being most telling... If your one of those who think all gas motors should be banned, well then your not going to agree. Common sense people, that all it takes. See Ya on the water.

Can you put a 5HP gas motor on this boat?

Depending on wind/current, start with a 10 pounder, weight is an issue, so only take what you need, a small amount of trial will tell you what works for you. I started with the anchor "bag" which came with pontoon, Put in a rock or two, take out a rock, you'll find what works, then get that weight in a lead type and GO FISHING(CATCHING).

I agree with the other answer. Trial and error on weight. BIG SAFETY RECOMMENDATION. Place a pool float on your anchor rope and tie a knot in it so it won't come off about 4 feet from where you attach it to your boat. Use a caribiner to hook the anchor rope to your boat. You can detach from it if you get into trouble and the pool float lets you come back to it and get your anchor. Thanks

Got this for my Birthday 6 years ago. Still have it and still use it. I just bought a second one from Costco again so my wife could join me. VERY useful. Used for Bass fishing, streams and rivers for trout and Stealhead. All around awesome boat.

It's so compact...I love it..Well worth the money

Fairly simple assembly. The explanation in the instructions for the air valve shows a counter clockwise turn of the valve but it's really clockwise. Can't wait to get it out on the water. Went to Wal-Mart today and picked up some new lures, anchor, stringer and line. I used to fish quite a bit and owned a 20 ft bass boat so this will be quite a change in style.

I have found the Classic Accessories 69660 Colorado Pontoon Boat to be of excellent quality in construction and ease of assembly. This pontoon boat is an upgrade of a less expensive steel framed boat, I have found the frame on the Colorado to be far superior to the less expensive pontoon boats, which gives me more confidence when on the water. There is more than enough storage built in than most would need. The only thing missing is the transport wheel.
After being on the water several times, both on flat water, in water with a fair amount of chop and boat wake the Colorado is very stable and can be maneuvered with ease.
For a serious fisherman looking for a quality pontoon boat, the Classic Accessories 69660 Colorado Pontoon Boat would be a good choice.

Had no problems getting the item. Called in the order and they sent it to the Walmart in Toccoa Ga. No time problems in the delivery. We went to Walmart and picked it up. We put it together and then called my son to come over and he was surprised! We took it down to the lake and he checked it out. He loves it.

I own one of these boats already and needed another one. the boat sits high out of the water and is easy to use.
Takes little to no time to inflate the pontoons. The pockets have alot of storage and the seat is comfortable. The boat can handle a med to small cooler and still float good. I own four boat and this one is top in its class to have, easy break down and storage too

Awesome Boat to have for river fishing

Takes some practice if you're unfamiliar with rowing, but skims easily across the water when you get the nack of it. Takes some time but easy to assemble the first time, but I only have to take off the foot peddles and rear platform to fit it in the back of my RAV4. (Hint: remember to put those parts in too before driving to the lake!) Comfortable with great back support, but expect to get your feet wet. The anchor system seems simple, but I really have to struggle to bring it back up and even a 10 lb weigh doesn't keep be from drifting. The rod holder is made for fly rods, but you can still secure a spinning reel rod with the velcro strap albeit awkwardly.
